Let’s grow together and cultivate something extraordinary!

…when I was small spending as much time outside as possible.  I could be found climbing in the huge beech tree beside our house, reading in the garden or capturing my first nature photos with my Kodak Instamatic Camera.  Being outside and capturing the beauty of nature quickly became my jam.  Nature is never the same.  The light is always changing, and each season offers so much inspiration in colour, texture and the creatures that call nature their home.  I started TRILLIUM ART to share my Nature Inspired Photography in the form of notecards and calendars.

My passion for nature never stopped, as I achieved my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture  from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and I have been creating outdoor living spaces for homeowners in Eastern and Southern Ontario ever since.  Life can get busy when balancing your creative projects, work deadlines, family and everything in-between. 

I am grateful to have acquired my passions from my parents.  Some of my fondest childhood memories are from working along side my Mom in the family’s veggie garden.  Years later, that passion for growing food led me to obtain a Certificate in Sustainable Urban Agriculture.  Growing food for my family and my community is one of life’s greatest joys!

I have also inherited the entrepreneurial spirit from my Dad by owning both TRILLIUM ART and my consulting business – DESIGNS BY LINDA MAE, where I work with small businesses combining my horticultural knowledge and organizational skills to help them bloom and grow.
